Description Technical Specs Extended Information   Black Berkey® Replacement Elements (pair) These two Black Berkey® Purification Elements are more powerful than any other gravity filter element currently available and fit most gravity filters, dramatically improving their ability to remove unwanted contaminants (SET OF TWO). Black Berkey® purification elements are so powerful, they can remove food coloring from water without removing the beneficial minerals your body needs. Virtually no other filtration element can duplicate this performance. We tested the Black Berkey® purification elements with more than 10,000 times the concentration of pathogens per liter than is required by standard test protocol. This concentration of pathogens is so great that the post filtered water should be expected to contain 100,000 or more pathogens per liter (99.99% reduction - the requirement for pathogenic removal). Incredibly the purification elements removed 100%. Absolutely no pathogens were cultured from the effluent or were able to be detected, even under an electron microscope, setting a new standard in water purification. Taste Value Health January 31, 2010 Reviewer: Edward from Olmsted Falls, OH United States   My family and I have used the Berkey Light for over a year now, there is a noticable difference in the taste of everything we use water in.  You cannot put a value on this system because who knows what your preventing from being injested into your body.  Just read the data on the stuff going into public water and you'll never take a drink from a tab again.  I believe our health is worth this. Get clean water now! July 16, 2008 Reviewer: Laura Frederick from Rochester Hills, MI United States   We have used other water purifiers with nothing coming close to the quality water that a Berkey water filter provides. The human body requires clean water to filter out toxins and other impurites. How can you maintain a healthy body by drinking polluted, flouridated city water? You can't! Anyone with health issues should get these filters asap. Drinking clean, non-contaminated water is the most important way to keep the body healthy. Berkey water filters April 10, 2007 Reviewer: Anonymous person from strasburg, PA United States   If your having trouble about buying one because you think its too much money think about this.When the water system gets worse then now and the dollar loses even MORE of its buying power,and you cant get clean water anywhere how much would you be willing to pay then?If your on this site then you allready know what I am talking about so why wait?I got one and am saving up to buy one for my mom and dad.I dont care how clean you think your water is even if its filtered. I am telling you it will be cleaner then it was.Berkey water tastes great!I LOVE my berkey and will never drink water without it! Was this review helpful to you?
